CV is a summary of your most important competences and experiences. It is your business card, meant to provoke its reader to ask you to come for a job interview.

The most important feature of your CV
A CV should most of all be informative and easy to read, no matter in which format you send it to an employer. Things that are most relevant to the position you are applying for must stand out with just a quick glance. The reader shouldn’t be forced to make guesses at your real competence on a practical level, what you really are capable of.
What does a good CV look like?
Don’t take risks with visual gimmickry. Make a document with proper and clear, easy-to-read margins, paragraphs and fonts. Even if you’re working or studying in a visual branch, clarity and information are your CV’s most important criteria. One or two pages (A4) is a good length for a CV.
